We are a group of concerned citizens, science enthusiasts, and patient advocates from around the world who promote evidence based prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancers. We are tired of seeing desperate patients and families spend money and time on unproven remedies which are potentially dangerous.
The Association for the Protection of Cancer Patients has no ties to the pharmaceutical industry and does not accept donations. If you would like to support cancer patients, here are two charities to which we’d love for you to make a donation:
- St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. They are performing legitimate research into treatment options for intractable brain cancers.
- Texas Children’s Hospital’s Kangaroo Crew, which does excellent and much needed work helping to move very ill children to and from the hospital.
